Our first Flagship clinic was established in 2006 in Moorgate, followed by further clinics in the Harley Street medical area and Birmingham.

We were the first private clinic in the UK to provide instant HIV testing for clients in the pharmacy setting.

Medical Directors

Citydoc was founded by Dr James Ghalaey and Dr Eoghan Macsweeney in 2006. They both had a background as experienced NHS GPs and had a vision to transform the landscape of private general practice. The main goal is to provide fast, professional and affordable health care to clients of all ages across the UK. Our ground breaking partnership with independent pharmacists has lead to the development of a nationwide network of clinics. Our clinics provide comprehensive travel and sexual health services and an expanding range of private blood tests.

The directors oversee clinical governance across the CityDoc network to ensure the highest standards of care are achieved. Our team of experienced practitioners are constantly striving to ensure that the latest advances in healthcare are available to all our clients, we also have a London walk in clinic service. We have developed a close relationship with a prestigious private laboratory in Harley Street to enable us to continue to lead the way in providing fast and accurate results for our clients.
