We have an excellent opportunity for a Care Manager to join the team at our Quidenham hospice, which has been rated as “Outstanding” by the CQC

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) supports families and cares for children and young people with life threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Care Manager 
Location: Quidenham, Norfolk 
Salary: £25,200 - £33,360 per annum (£31,500 - £41,700 pro rata) 
Part time, 30 hours per week. 
Contract: Fixed term, 12 months 


EACH is a leading provider of specialist palliative care services for children with life-threatening illnesses and complex health care needs and their families. We have an established reputation for excellence, providing choice and individualised care, optimising the quality of life for children and their families throughout their illness, at end of life and in bereavement.

You will be a qualified nurse with paediatric experience, educated to degree/ diploma level, or equivalent and have knowledge of specialist children’s palliative care or a related field of practice underpinned by theory and experience. Having worked for at least three years in a social care and/or health service background, you will possess strong leadership skills and will have successfully managed a professional team. You will also be able to participate in the day-time duty manager rota across 7 days.

Our Care Managers have responsibility for the delivery of all aspects of EACH’s specialist palliative care services within the locality. They lead a multi-disciplinary team in a role that combines own practice and managerial duties.
