Job Description
To work as a member of the radiography team in treatment, pre-treatment and administration aspects; and to assist in maintaining and developing the imaging service.
Duties & Responsibilities
Skillfully provide accurate diagnostic imaging services
Undertake and perform all MRI procedures to a high standard, observing all safety checks and procedures and ensuring full compliance with all MRI policies, with the safe scanning of the patient as priority.
Comply with legislative and hospital policies and procedure, ensuring patient safety
Practice a high level of customer care
Work within a multi-disciplinary team to maximise clinical efficiency
To provide a portable service to wards and departments
To rotate between areas as required
To maintain X ray records and archived images
Assist in staff orientation and training
To report all equipment faults
Skills & Experience
Educated to A level standard ( or equivalent).
Bsc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
HPC registration
2 years post qualification experience
Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures
Health and Safety training
Evidence of CPD file. ( Continuous Professional development).
