Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a MSK Outpatient Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy team at the Buckinghamshire Musculoskeletal Integrated Care Service (MusIC) in Buckinghamshire. We are keen to hear from you whether you are looking for part time / full time or bank work. MusIC provides an outpatient clinical assessment and treatment service for patients presenting with musculoskeletal conditions. You will provide Physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment to a combination of both spinal and peripheral GP referred patients. There are close working relationships with the whole clinical team, including Extended Scope Practitioners (ESP’s), Specialist Musculoskeletal GPs, and diagnostic service staff. You will be supported in the ordering of diagnostics, including MRI, X-ray and ultrasound in order to manage the full patient pathway, including onward referral to secondary care if required. We also offer a structured training and mentoring programme in order to develop to Extended Scope Practitioner level. We are based in 8 modern treatment facilities, with high quality equipment, throughout Buckinghamshire. The main locations we are recruiting for are; High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Chalfont, travel between sites is not compulsory as part of this role and we can be flexible as to which location would be most suitable. We offer regular department in-service training, funding for external clinical courses, and an excellent supportive learning environment in order to continually develop you own personal learning and CPD. Furthermore, there is no on-call or compulsory weekend work to allow for a strong work life balance. Buckinghamshire is an area of outstanding natural beauty and ranks as one of the top rural areas to live in the UK*. Stretching from the outskirts of London to the Midlands, the county offers a unique mix of bustling towns alongside the rolling Chiltern Hills and the River Thames. Country walks run between picturesque villages whilst the superb travel links give quick and easy access to the cities of London, Oxford, Milton Keynes and Birmingham.
