Recruiting Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) – Northwick Park UCC Permanent / Bank Positions Available

Ideally suited to Advanced Nurse Practitioners with a background in General Practice; you will notice a number of benefits working as an ANP in a UCC:  

• You'll have longer to spend with your patients, between 2-3 patients an hour - no 10 minute appointments!
• Our systems mean you'll no longer be tied by the burden of administration - you're time will be treating patients, no QOF either! Plus you'll only work the hours you're paid to, when your shift finishes no longer will you need to stay late to update patient notes, process repeat prescriptions. Also there's no home visits. 
• You'll work as part of a wider team of GPs and ENPs, who'll be there to support you when necessary. Our Primary Care Led model is safe and efficient with robust governance structures to support you.
• Furthermore our UCCs are co-located in busy acute emergency departments, you'll only see patients you're qualified to treat and in order of priority. This also offer the opportunity to interact with other hospital departments and be able to refer patients directly to them.
• Lastly you can be free to take advantage of a flexible working pattern, whether you're looking for ad-hoc bank sessions to fit around your other commitments, salaried and regular work or if you're looking for guaranteed sessions working through a limited company we can offer the working arrangements and shift patterns to suit you.

Greenbrook Healthcare is an innovative primary care provider looking for ANPs to join the urgent care team co-located at Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow.

The UCC is a 24 hour, 365 days a year service staffed by a team of experienced ENPs, ECPs and ANPs working alongside GPs to deliver high quality care.

Requirements You will be a qualified ANP with following qualifications:

MSc Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Non-medical Prescribing (desirable)

You will have experience and skills in:

Minor Illness - including common minor illness 

Competent in autonomous assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment

Not essential but beneficial - minor injury—including X-ray interpretation, suturing, plastering, management of complex wounds and injury skills (training may be provided if required)

Competitive salary (salary range Band 8a equivalent)
