About Us
Sidra Medical and Research Center is an ultramodern, all-digital academic medical center which will set new standards in patient care for women and children in Qatar, the Gulf region and internationally.
Our high-tech facility will not only provide world-class patient care but will also help build Qatar’s scientific expertise and resources.
Sidra features a main hospital building (opening in January 2018) and a separate outpatient clinic.
The main hospital will initially have 400 beds with infrastructure to enable expansion to 550 beds in a subsequent phase.
All our experienced Nurses will operate within a model of care underpinned by international evidence based best practice and supported by world class technology.
Clinical research focused on education, quality improvements and a culture of patient and family safety will be used to inform and guide best practice standards.
We are currently recruiting Clinical Nurse Manager experienced in these areas of care:
Pediatric Intensive Care
Neonatal Intensive Care
About You
Our Clinical Nurse Managers have 24-hour operational accountability for a specific unit/service. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team ensures that standards for nursing care are adhered to at unit level.
The Clinical Nurse Manager is fully responsible for the unit budget, patient experience and outcomes and staff performance and development.
She/He works collaboratively to ensure that commissioning, recruitment, onboarding, orientation and service activation responsibilities are carried out in accordance with Sidra’s plans and timelines.
The Clinical Nurse Manager is professionally accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer.
In addition you’ll need to:
Be willing to relocate to Qatar in late 2017
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (3 year Diploma in Nursing) or ideally a Masters degree in Nursing or health related field
7+ years of clinical experience including 5+ progressive management experience within a Pediatric or Neonatal Intensive Care area in an acute care hospital setting in North America, or equivalent in the UK, Republic of Ireland, EU States, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand.
Hold a valid professional Nursing license
Be fluent in written and spoken English
