Job Details
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) supports families and cares for children and young people with life threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Clinical Educator – Milton, Cambridge
Part time – 22.5 hours per week
£15,900-£21,360 per annum (£26,500-£35,600 pro rata)
Based at Milton, this post involves frequent travel across all EACH localities.
EACH is a leading provider of specialist palliative care services for children with life-threatening illnesses and complex health care needs and their families. We have an established reputation for excellence, providing choice and individualised care, optimising the quality of life for children and their families throughout their illness, at end of life and in bereavement.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual committed to nurse development to join our multidisciplinary team. You will facilitate, develop and deliver care and clinical teaching and learning initiatives to promote the development of a competent and skilled care workforce.
You must hold a professional qualification in nursing (Child Branch) or other branch with relevant experience of working with infants, children or young people. You will have knowledge of mentorship, education and practice development with evidence of post graduate study (or equivalent) and knowledge and understanding of children’s palliative care services and recent initiatives in children’s health and social care.
In addition, you must be IT literate and willing to work towards a professional qualification in teaching if you do not already possess one.
