We are currently looking for Nurses and Paramedics to join us and our community of NHS 111 Clinicians. As a NHS 111 Nurse/Paramedic advisor we can offer you flexibility, support, career progression and development!

As a paramedic/nurse advisor within 111 you will provide over the phone advice to patients with non-emergency urgent care needs. Using the NHS Pathways IT system and your own clinical expertise, you will support the Health advisors within the contact centre and help to assess the patients’ needs to arrive at a correct clinical outcome.
We currently have a variety of shifts and hours available at our Ipswich site.
Classroom training is provided, which is normally completed over 5 weeks Monday-Friday 9am-5pm or part time for 9 weeks, over 3 evenings and both a Saturday and Sunday day time. This is also supported by a further consolidation period of on the job coaching and development. Upon completion of training and consolidation the Clinician will be an accredited NHS Pathways user

Required Skills/Experience

-HCPC/NMC Registered
-Good communication and organisation skills
-Patient care and quality focused
-IT Literate
-Strong knowledge of Primary Care services

Additional Information

Pay rates per hour:

Training rate: 16.64 Minimum of 12 weeks - After training the rate will increase to £18.49ph and any shifts worked between the hours of 11pm and 7am will be paid at an enhanced of £21.02

NHS 111 is the 24/7/365 non-emergency telephone service providing patients access to the most appropriate urgent care service for their needs without the need for repeated assessment.

NHS 111 is designed to improve and simplify access to non-emergency health care by providing access to a full range of services including referrals into community, primary and secondary care services.
