This post is full-time for 37.5 hours per week and you will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Their hospital in Harrow are looking for a Critical Care - Clinical Lead. This post is full-time for 37.5 hours per week (and there will be a flexible shift pattern which includes long shifts, 7.30 am - 8.00 pm, 8.00 pm to 7.30 am as well as shorter shifts)

This is a pivotal role within the Critical Care Department.

The hospital provides services to adults and children from 16 years of age. The hospital has five theatres, an endoscopy suite, a Level 3 Intensive Care unit and offers a self-pay, walk-in Urgent Care Centre, open 7 days a week, from 8am - 8pm.

Key Competencies and responsibilities include:

You will need to be a qualified Nurse and have several years' experience within teaching within ITU (this is essential);

Education experience in education teaching both staff as well as students in a clinical area is essential;

This is a very varied and high profile role and you will be required to deputise for the Clinical Services Manager;

Providing leadership and clinical advice for all grades of ITU staff both in a clinical and non- clinical role; and

Collating and presenting data to senior management and the unit team, as well as teaching and assessing staff on clinical competencies, procedures and management issues is key to the role.
