Clinical Nurse Specialist Team Leader
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (to be worked on a 7 day rota basis including weekends)
We currently have an opportunity for a Team Leader to provide day to day leadership for our Clinical Nurse Specialist (Community) Team. The team are based in the hospice but work mainly in the community providing specialist expertise and support to patients with advanced and progressive life-limiting illnesses and their families. You will work closely with primary health care teams.
You must be a 1st level registered nurse with relevant post registration experience including clinical experience of caring for patients with specialist palliative or oncology care needs in a hospice, hospital or in the community.
Ideally educated to degree level or working towards a palliative care degree or diploma programme you must demonstrate an ability to manage a caseload and have relevant teaching skills. You should be innovative, have good insight into research and audit, and possess excellent management and communication skills. A current UK driving licence and car owner is essential as is a flexible approach to work as weekend working is required.
