Do you want to be part of an innovative team providing information for people with cancer? If you can write high quality web information and are passionate about making a real difference to people with cancer, this could be the job for you.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced oncology nurse in our expanding and friendly patient information web team. We have recently redesigned our award winning website and continue to test innovative ways of providing personalised online information for anyone affected by cancer. Millions of people come to Cancer Research UK's website each year for information.
We're looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic nurse to...
- Write about cancer, treatments, clinical trials, and coping with symptoms and side effects
- Research clinical practice and treatment changes and update the website accordingly
- Liaise with specialist clinical reviewers and patient reviewers
Join us and provide excellent information to patients through your
- Comprehensive knowledge of cancer, treatments and support services
- Ability to translate complex medical information into easily understandable language
- Ability to write clearly and fluently
- Computer literate
- Excellent eye for detail and good organisational skills
