Sister/Charge Nurse – In Patient Unit
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Based: Lymington, Hampshire

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Sister/Charge Nurse to support our Ward Manager in leading our In Patient Unit.

This is a uniformed senior nursing role and whilst you will lead the IPU team alongside the Ward Manager you will also be required to deliver patient care as part of the nursing roster.  Acting as a role model to other/junior staff you will promote a positive environment that encourages and supports staff development and involvement to ensure we continue to provide the highest standard of care for our patients and their families/carers.

You will be a registered nurse with recent experience in palliative care, oncology or other life limiting diseases. Excellent team management, communication and interpersonal skills are vital to this post, as are sound organisational skills and the ability to plan work and manage changing priorities. A flexible approach to working hours is also required as is a can-do positive attitude.
