Over the last two year, on behalf of Health Education England, Middlesex University has successfully led a number of projects related to practice learning and the development of student nurse placements in primary, community and tertiary care settings. In order to build on these initiatives a new post has been created within the Practice-based Learning Unit (PBLU) to work in collaboration with staff and students in creating a Centre of Excellence in Practice Learning on behalf of HEE.

The post holder will be required to work with the Practice-based Learning team in facilitating a range of projects related to the development of placement opportunities and work with local partners to ensure practice staff are provided with the required levels of guidance and support for their own professional development.

The post requires an experienced and enthusiastic senior clinician or academic with excellent communication skills, experience of primary, community and tertiary care, an in-depth understanding of practice learning issues and well developed project management skills.
