Staff Nurse (RGN) - Band 5

Location: Harefield and Hillingdon

Salary: £25,681 to £33,058 (inc HCAA) + benefits (accommodation available)

Description: This leading NHS Foundation Trust operates the largest heart and lung centre in the UK and is also among the largest in Europe.

They are entering a phase of major investment to expand and develop services. They are seeking dynamic and motivated Staff Nurse’s (RGN) who wish to be part of these exciting times.

The Staff Nurse posts are in a lively and stimulating environment recently renovated to provide a dedicated private patients unit.

You will be based within a 16 bedded and 4 bedded HDU ward caring for a range of patients with complex needs including aortic dissection, aortic root surgery, a range of valve procedures, surgical ablation and minimally invasive cardiac and thoracic surgery including thorascopic lung resection. Additionally the ward will provide care for cardiology patients undergoing elective procedures as well as future development for private transplant and VAD patients.

Person Specification: First level qualified Staff Nurse (RGN) or Newly Qualified Nurse, NMC registered. Experience of ‘acute care’ is desirable whilst enthusiasm, commitment and flexibility is essential.
