Description: Our client is an independent Diagnostic Imaging Company servicing the NHS and the Private Health sector, They have grown to become the largest independent provider in Europe with a fleet of Mobile and Static Diagnostic Imaging Scanners.

They currently have a fantastic opportunity in South Manchester for a MRI Radiographer with a minimum of 3 Years MRI experience  to work within one of the UK's top cardiac centres. They will provide full cardiac training.

You will be responsible for the implementation of service quality developments, maintaining knowledge of current research, new clinical practices, government guidelines and legislation. Interpreting, advising on and implementing improvements/developments and practice and overseeing the training of all other clinical members of staff. You will also support the Unit Manager with varying duties across the team.

Must be able to work independently and make effective, sensible decisions without supervision and have the communication skills necessary to discuss cases with referring clinicians and Consultant Radiologists. In addition, they will have the ability to prioritise their workload and adapt to changing demands without detriment to the service provision.

Person Specification: As the Senior MRI Radiographer you will have a minimum of 3 years post graduate general MR scanning experience. There is an expectation that the candidate will rotate through both MR and CT, therefore experience, especially on a Siemens MRI is essential and knowledge of CT advantageous. The successful candidate must be committed to the unit, have a keen interest in research and have a strong desire to learn.
