Job Advert Role Description

We are looking to appoint a Director of Clinical Services to manage the clinical services of our operation (acute, adolescent, addictions and OCD inpatient services - 49 beds). As part of the Senior Management Team, the role holder will ensure compliance with statutory regulations and current legislation, meet quality standards and deliver against key performance indicators. The post holder will collaborate with the Multi Disciplinary Team to ensure consistency and quality standards are met throughout the whole of the clinical services. Outstanding knowledge of CQC regulations will be required as well as developing and maintain relations with all stakeholders. The post holder will deputise for the Hospital Director and should aspire to develop and progress to Hospital Director level.

There will also be an opportunity to provide leadership to two satellite sites (Harley Street and Devon House) enabling you to develop multi-site experience.

A highly motivated and experienced professional, you will bring at least five years previous relevant experience, together with supervisory/managerial experience for a group of professional staff.  You will also hold a relevant professional qualification (RMN) together with full membership/accreditation of a professional institution.  A detailed understanding of statutory regulations is also required as are financial and people management skills.

Successful candidates will be motivated to work in a service that offers involvement and empowerment for service users, contributing to the development and enhancement of nursing services at site. Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and current legislation, meeting quality standards and delivering against key performance indicators, you will lead, enhance and deliver our exceptional standards of performance that have become synonymous with Priory Group, the UK’s leading independent provider of mental health services.
