New Australian TSS Visa Opportunities
On 18 April 2017, the Australian Government announced that the Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (subclass 457 visa) will be abolished and replaced with the completely new Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa in March 2018. The TSS visa programme will be comprised of a Short-Term stream of up to two years and a Medium-Term stream of up to four years and will support healthcare businesses in addressing genuine skill shortages in their workforce. The Medium-Term stream will be the only pathway through to permanent residency, however significant changes will apply for both employer and overseas candidate.
ehealthmatch is seeking Specialist Nurses with skill sets in the following clinical areas:
- Midwives
- ICU / CCU
- Anaesthetic & Recovery
- Vascular/Thoracic Surgery – Scrub Scout
- Neurosurgery – Scrub Scout
- Orthopaedics – Scrub Scout
These positions are in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide as well as some other large regional cities throughout Australia.
