Location: Brighton
Salary: Band 7 Equivalent (£31,697-£42,000)
Description: This Brighton based charity offers specialist care and support for men, women and families living with HIV.
Their services are run from a fantastic centre in Brighton where they have a 10-bed inpatient unit, therapy rooms and larger rooms for group work. They also have a landscaped garden for patients and visitors to enjoy all year round. They aim to provide high-quality care and support in a friendly and homely environment which has gained them an “Outstanding” CQC report.
Person Specification:. They are looking for a motivated and experienced nurse leader (RGN or RGN/RMN Dual qualified) to develop services for clients living with HIV. The 10 bedded in-patient unit supports people with complex needs to regain their ability to self-care and manage their condition, or recuperate following an acute hospital admission. You will ideally have gained 3 years experience working within medicine / HIV.
You will be able to use your specialist HIV knowledge and experience to ensure the provision of high quality services and lead them through a service redesign project. Working closely with the new clinical director and supported by the team leaders, this is a great opportunity to be innovative, enhance your service development skills and shape how and where they deliver care in the future.
Benefits: Your career development is important and you will be offered coaching, clinical supervision and educational opportunities to expand your professional, management and clinical skills. You will also receive:
• Competitive salary and annual leave allowance • Pension Scheme • Subsidised meals
