An interim vacancy, with an immediate start, has arisen for a Lead Nurse to manage their dedicated, friendly and professional nursing and healthcare team, to continue to deliver an outstanding health service to all pupils. An excellent salary is on offer commensurate with this important short term contract. The successful candidate will:

*have proven leadership experience and experience in School Nursing, Minor Injuries Nursing or Practice Nursing alongside strong organisational skills,
*be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly the ability to relate to young people, parents and colleagues and undertake line management responsibility for all Medical Centre Nurses and Medical Centre Assistants,
*be accountable for all aspects of Medical Centre care, including pupil in-patients,
*be responsible for the strategic development of the Medical Centre in line with recommended best practice,
*be computer literate to at least an intermediate standard and have experience of using medical databases.
