Thames Hospice provides expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. We care for the physical, social and psychological needs of our patients working with our patient, their family and carers to form a tailored programme of care.

These are exciting times for Thames Hospice. We have planning permission for a larger purpose built facility due for completion in 2020, whereby we will be developing and extending our existing services. 

Thames Hospice provides a Rapid Response service for people facing the end of their lives in their own homes and for this we are currently recruiting Staff Nurses, who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing excellent care to people when they are most in need.

Experience in a palliative or end of life care setting is not essential, as you will be provided with relevant training and support, but post registration nursing experience is required. 

Our Rapid Response service operates over a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you will be required to work shifts that includes nights. You should hold a full UK driving licence and are expected to cover a 15 mile radius of Thames Hospice.
