Salary: Up to £35,577 pa
Description: We are currently looking for an NMC Registered Nurse in Meldreth (South Cambridgeshire / North Hertfordshire border). Our client, a children’s home and school, provides education, care and therapeutic support for children and young adults age 9-19 years with severe and profound communication difficulties associated with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, brain injury and degenerative disorders
Person Specification: Your role will be to ensure the ongoing health, safety and wellbeing of the children and young adults that are learning and living at the school. A key responsibility of your role will be to facilitate nurse led health clinics at the school and administer medication safely and effectively; maintaining accurate, clear and up to date records and responding quickly to any variance or deterioration in a child or young person's health, applying knowledge and skills to manage symptoms and seeking advice when required. The role will give you a great opportunity to participate in standard setting, audit, data collection and quality reviews.
