The Job

Baxter is looking for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our Thetford plant reporting to the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager. You will have the responsibility for leading the Occupation Health function and programme and will develop and implement occupational health procedures and practices, ensuring that the facility is compliant with UK legislation and Baxter Corporate Occupational objectives. 

Responsibilities: 

•    Absence and Case Management.
•    Pre-employment and job placement medicals.
•    Annual full medicals for relevant site employees.
•    Health Promotion Initiatives.
•    Health Awareness and Wellness events.
•    Hearing Conservation program and annual vision screening.
•    Provide monthly reviews of Occupational Health performance to the EHS and Facilities Manager.

About you: 

•    Bachelor of Science in Nursing and appropriate qualifications to practice in the UK

•    Occupational Health Nursing Qualification – Minimum diploma level 
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential, proactive approach to work essential.
