Are you a Mental Health Nurse looking for career progression? Do you have a passion for advising and supporting patients with mental health needs? If so, then we have the role for you.
What you’ll be doing
As a Regional Mental Health Lead Nurse, you will help to take forward the mental health provision within the Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) by liaising with external stakeholders, including other Mental Health Trusts and CCG’s across the Suffolk, North East Essex and West midlands region. You'll also spend time working within the Clinical Hub and will support and advise the Mental Health Nurse Advisors whilst working closely with the Clinical Navigator to manage the clinical queues. To ensure your team are delivering the very best care, you’ll be responsible for the clinical governance of the mental health service whilst undertaking regular clinical audits with your team members. You will be working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team in the CAS which consists of GPs/ANPs, Registered Nurses, UCPs, Mental Health and Dental Nurses and Prescribing Pharmacists and Pharmacy Advisors.
Skills and Experience
Essential: • RMN qualification with active NMC PIN number • Excellent understanding of the needs of patients with mental health difficulties • Previous experience in a similar role – with evidence of clinical and management supervision Desirable: • Certificate or Diploma in Management • Hold an MSc
This is a permanent part-time job, working up to 15 hours per week. If you would like to work more hours, we can offer this however would expect you to work as a Mental Health AdvisorWe can offer you:

Care UK has been awarded a new contract for the delivery of Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) services across Suffolk and North East Essex. The job will be based primarily at our Clinical Assessment Service in Ipswich however it will require travel to Brierley Hill (which will be reimbursed).
The Mental Health advice service will be provided between the following hours: Monday to Friday - 14:30 to 22:30 Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays – 10:30 to 23:30
You will be expected to be available to work during periods of peak demand
