Salary: Dependent upon experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our team in delivering high quality care to our Practice population.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised diabetes qualification and have experience and knowledge of managing a diabetes caseload, working both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Excellent communication skills will be required to educate, empower and support people with diabetes to help them be self-reliant.

The ideal candidate will be organised, with good time management skills and have a commitment to continued personal development. They will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate an up to date knowledge of current clinical and professional issues within diabetes care.

QUALIFICATIONS: RGN (Membership of RCN, MDU or MPS essential)

Degree or Higher Award in nursing (or related area)

Expert in Clinical Specialism

Management experience in Diabetes Care
