BMI London Independent Hospital is a well-equipped hospital providing healthcare across at least 30 specialities. The hospital has a range of outpatient services, 3 operating theatres, critical care case beds (ITU Level 3), and leading imaging facilities. These facilities combined with the latest in technology and on-site support services; enable our consultants to undertake a wide range of investigations and operations. Consultants have the support of caring and highly trained nursing and allied healthcare professionals as well as access to some of the latest technology and equipment. With a team of resident medical officers available 24hours a day, the hospital provides an ideal environment for excellent clinical care and patient recovery.

As a result of this on-going growth we have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Anaesthetics and Recovery Theatre Practitioner to join the team at the BMI London Independent Hospital in the Tower Hamlets, London. We are looking for people who share BMI Healthcare’s belief in providing the highest standards of perioperative care for patients.

This is a FULL time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • ILS.
  • Mentorship qualification
  • Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic
  • Caring and Professional nature.
  • Drive and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work in a team and use own initiative.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Anaesthetic and scrub experience essential

Duties of this role include:     

  • To deliver safe quality care for patients during their perioperative phase of care. 
  • To support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic
  • Caring and Professional nature.
  • Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
  • Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment.

Salary & Benefits:

BMI Healthcare offer a salary of up to £30,000pa for ths vacancy alongside access to a wide range of employee benefits, including:
