Circle Nottingham covers several specialities including Dermatology, Respiratory, Pain, Diagnostic Imaging, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Gynaecology and Colposcopy, Daycase Surgery, Endoscopy and Digestive Diseases. We also have a Short Stay Unit and a team dedicated to our private patients.
Role & Responsibilities for a Staff Nurse:
By joining the nursing team at Circle Nottingham, you will become part of a progressive team committed to diversity, excellence and achievement. Our aim is to ensure our patients are cared for by compassionate, dedicated teams who offer safe, personalised care every time.
This role will allow you to work flexibly, building relationships with our diverse teams and will be a fantastic opportunity for any Nurse who wishes to enhance their experience. We are looking for Nurses with strong skill sets that will enrich our departments.
You will be required to:
- Work flexibly, as part of the hospital’s clinical team, to provide the highest standards of nursing care to our patients; to maintain high standards of communication throughout the hospital, and to make a positive contribution towards the team’s pursuit of excellence
- Ensure the Patient Record is completed in a timely and accurate way.
- Maintain effective channels of communication at all times.
- Act as mentor for students, learners, junior nurses and Healthcare Assistants and recording progress, as appropriate

Person Specification for a Staff Nurse:
- NMC registration
- Demonstrable record of CPD
- Knowledge of current issues in professional practice with particular relevance to your previous experience
- Knowledge of standards of professional practice in the wider healthcare context
