And right now, we’re looking for a Band 5 Staff Nurse at HMP Norwich, and help make a difference to the lives of patients’ in a challenging, but incredibly rewarding environment.

As part of a large multidisciplinary team, you’ll assist and support senior staff to deliver a nurse-led integrated primary care services and develop a specialist practise-based clinical model within the prisons. As the first point of contact within healthcare you will be a source of advice to primary care colleagues, prison staff & offenders.

You’ll need to be a first level Registered Nurse with excellent communication skills and a confident approach. Some experience of working within a prison or other secure environment, and a good knowledge of current issues/agendas facing prison and offender healthcare would also be useful.
