BMI Highfield Hospital

Rochdale, Greater Manchester

BMI Highfield Hospital is an acute surgical hospital with 47 beds and is able to perform a wide range of minor to complex operations across a number of specialities including Cardiology, Cosmetic Surgery, ENT, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics and Urology.

We currently have a number of opportunities for exceptional Theatre Scrub Practitioners to join our fantastic theatre team as the hospital continues to grow and develop its service. The hospital currently has 4 very busy theatres and an Extended Recovery Area.

We are ideally looking to appoint into substantive posts on a full-time basis covering 37.5 hours a week - but we will also consider applications from people looking to join our bank and will be flexible wherever possible. (Please note however that the role holders will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern Monday to Saturday with an on-call responsibility.)

We are particularly keen to hear from people with a strong background and experience in Orthopaedic Scrub.

As well as having a strong reputation in the Greater Manchester/Lancashire area, BMI Highfield is part of BMI Healthcare, Britain's largest provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

Upon joining you will receive a competitive benefits package including private healthcare, staff pension, 25 days annual holiday + bank holidays and free parking.  In addition you will also have access to some of the best training and development programmes in the healthcare sector courtesy of our dedicated in-house Learning and Development team.
