Unit Manager Clinical
Worcester
£19.50 per hour plus benefits

  • Are you experienced in supporting older people with complex care needs?
  • Are you an organised, methodical Nurse who is passionate about delivering positive change?
  • Then you can build a fast-moving nursing career with Care UK and help our residents get more out of life every day.

What you’ll do

Leading the care team during your shifts, you will make certain that we fully meet residents’ medical, physical and emotional requirements. Ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will mentor and motivate colleagues, champion residents’ safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement, whilst acting as Named Nurse for your own portfolio of service users.

Where you’ll work

Perry Manor is a CQC-rated ‘outstanding’ care home in Worcester that provides a full range of round-the-clock care for older people.
The skilled and experienced team at our luxurious, purpose-built care home provides residential, dementia care and nursing care, as well as short term respite care and end of life care – all under one roof.

When your loved one joins us, we’ll spend time getting to know them well, including their care needs as well as their hobbies, likes and dislikes. Then we’ll design care and activity plans, as well as menus, that are tailored to their unique needs and tastes.

It’s this attention to detail and commitment to the individual that led to us being rated as an ‘outstanding’ care home by the CQC in late 2018.

Our lifestyle team organises a range of group and one-to-one activities and outings and regular entertainment from local performers. Here your loved one is free to continue doing the things they love, whether that’s gardening and baking, arts and crafts, or theatre trips and outings. They can even help out around the home or do a spot of gardening.

Perry Manor also has its own cinema, coffee shop and hair and beauty salon – creating a lively community atmosphere where your loved one can spend the day doing whatever takes their fancy.

Choosing the right care home for yourself or a loved one can be an emotional journey. We’re here to listen, advise and help you. Please treat Perry Manor as your own home – visit your loved one whenever you want and stay for as long as you like.

Who you are

An NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD), you will be well versed in care planning processes and fully familiar with clinical assessment tools.
You will be keen to develop your leadership skills and clinical knowledge, capable of building close relationships with residents and their families, and determined to drive continuous improvement.
