We are looking for an individual with the drive, vision and passion for improvement, are you that person?

NHS Dumfries & Galloway is looking to recruit a dynamic, pro-active and forward-thinking Lead Nurse that thinks out of the box based at our beautiful new purpose-built state-of-the art hospital - Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.

As Lead Nurse, you will ensure that the clinical teams on the ground in the Acute and Diagnostic Directorate effectively deliver a high standard of patient care.

Key to the success of this role is the use of transformational leadership, improvement methodology and informatics to deliver change and support clinical teams to achieve safe, effective, harm free care and minimise patient safety risk.

Within this role, you will make a major contribution to creating a compelling vision for the future of services for health care professionals within the hospital, along with the development of challenging service development strategies anticipating future needs, challenge existing practices to ensure progressive solutions, which take into account models of best practice.
