Specialist Fertility Nurse / Donor Coordinator

Band 6 £28,050 - £37,010 per annum
Full-time 37.5 hours per week

The Aberdeen Centre for Reproductive Medicine (ACRM) is currently seeking an enthusiastic Specialist Fertility Nurse / Donor Coordinator to join our small expert multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate should understand the individual needs of women who need to use donated eggs or sperm and demonstrate the ability to communicate with donors and recipients on an empathetic level.

A leading provider of private fertility services, we require applicants to have outstanding interpersonal skills in a challenging and rewarding work environment, whilst providing quality nursing care always.
Whilst a background in fertility nursing and / or women’s health is advantageous, previous experience in fertility nursing is not essential as training will be provided. Applicants must be on Part 1 of the NMC register and have several years post registration experience and provide evidence of leadership / management qualities.

Where appropriate, the successful candidate may be entitled to up to £8,000 relocation allowance. ACRM has been established for over 30 years and the team prides itself on providing a uniquely personalised level of care to all their patients.

The Centre is situated within Aberdeen Maternity Hospital, with purpose-built facility due to open in 2021, and is close to excellent amenities such as parks, theatres, restaurants and shops with excellent travel links.
