Care Services Director, St Catherine’s Hospice, Crawley, West Sussex

Salary:  £63-73K per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

It’s an exciting time to be joining our hospice and we have a great opportunity as we are looking for a new Care Services Director. This key leadership role will be an integral member of our Senior Management Team and is responsible for the operational delivery of Inpatient and Community palliative/end of life care. You’ll work alongside our expert medical team and other St Catherine’s managers, employees and volunteers to deliver and develop our exceptional care to our local community when they need it most.

The Care Services Director is the senior registered nurse, and acts as a point of expert Nursing/Clinical reference and transparent leadership. This is a pivotal role and it is essential that you have significant leadership and team management experience in a Care Services environment, as well as experience of working to achieve patient focused outcomes whilst meeting organisational objectives. You should have experience in leading and implementing a patient safety and quality agenda, project managing service enhancements and of improving services and the patient experience through user engagement. You must be able to set clear standards, prioritise and provide clear instruction in order to lead and develop our team to continue to deliver outstanding patient care.
