Junior Sister – Surgical/Gynaecological Ward

Salary: £46,048 - £49,040 per year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sister position in our acute 16 bedded gynaecology/female surgical unit. Your clinical duties will be equally divided between the inpatient and outpatient service. We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking individual to support the senior sister in delivering high quality patient centred care. You must have a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience. This is an ideal chance for a senior staff nurse to develop their leadership and management skills. It is desirable for the applicant to have completed a nursing related degree or be working towards this.

Our people are so important so with support from day one, you’ll have everything you need to make the move and start changing the lives of others, and your own. We’ll provide you with a generous relocation package (£8,000), as well as continual training and development opportunities and the freedom to really rediscover why you love what you do, and who you are.

Make the move to Jersey today and see why this is care rediscovered.

For an informal discussion please contact Jenna Mackay on 01534 442511

Company

Covering an area of 45 square miles and with a resident population just over 100,000, Jersey is the largest and most southerly of the Channel Islands. And our Health and Social Services aim to improve the health and wellbeing of Islanders through the delivery of high quality, person focused health and social care.

To meet these goals, our staff are working with our voluntary, community and independent sector partners, including those in Primary Care, to continue to transform and develop services in line with our vision as described in ‘A New Way Forward for Health and Social Care’.

Following a period of service redesign and significant investment, we now need experienced and motivated people to help us realise our collective ambition and play an active part in delivering  within our community mental health teams.

Jersey is an island community built on care and it’s why we look out for, and after one another so well. This is your chance to make the move, start a new adventure and rediscover why you love what you do, and who you are. This is care rediscovered.
