Location: Brighton and Seaford

Salary: c £25000 (Term time only)

Description:  This charitable school is a non maintained independent specialist school and independent specialist college, working with learners aged 5 – 25 who have complex learning disabilities,

They have an amazing opportunity for a School Nurse (RSCN/RLND) to work across their two sites Seaford and Brighton.

You will work as part of a small nursing team overseeing the healthcare needs of the children and young people. You will be responsible for a small caseload of students and must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills liaising with the multi-disciplinary team.

Ideally you'll have experience with complex healthcare needs You will be working in a truly multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic health care and with the benefit of seeing the on-going impact of your contribution.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 16.30 pm but a degree of flexibility may be required.

This is a temporary contract until July when the post will come under review which may lead to a permanent opportunity.

Person Specification: You will be NMC registered and qualified as an RSCN/RN Child/RGN/RMN or RNLD. The ideal candidate will be approachable, engaging, passionate, inspirational and willing to go the extra mile.

This position isn’t live in and as you will cover nursing services across two sites you would need to be a driver with transport.
