Job Details

We have an exciting opportunity for a Managing Director for the South East region in the Adult Care division reporting into the COO and sitting on the Divisional Senior Management team. The role is a remote role and will require the successful candidate to be able to travel throughout the region as well as to the Priory Group offices in Hammersmith and Leicester.

The South East region has a large geographical span including Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, London, Kent and East Sussex with approximately 80 services including both Older People and Specialist services.

Key responsibilities

  • Having operational responsibility for all aspects of performance in the region including quality, commercial and workforce.
  • Ensuring all services put quality of care at the forefront of what they do whilst maintaining cost control, budgeting requirements, profit and growth opportunities and ensuring regulatory requirements are satisfied.
  • Leading four Operations Directors and Peripatetic Managers, with support from a Finance Manager, HR Business Partner, Quality Improvement Leads and Service Development Managers.

The ideal candidate

  • Will be passionate about providing high quality care and continuous improvement.
  • Will be a recognised leader, with significant operational and financial planning experience as well as experience of working in social care in a wide variety of services.
  • Will have demonstrable and successful track record operating at a senior level with extensive managerial experience and ideally a thorough understanding of planning, commissioning and developing services for social care.

We also offer a range of residential and nursing care for older people with varying levels of need.
