A great opportunity has arisen for flexible and compassionate Unit Manager (RGN) to join the friendly team at Barchester's Rivermead Care home in Malton, just 8 miles from the beautiful city of York. This role is a great opportunity for a Senior Nurse (RGN/RMN) to take the next step in their career in a CQC OUTSTANDING home.

To join us as a Unit Manager you'll use your leadership skills to make sure our residents get the quality person-centred care we're known for. You're a hands-on clinical leader who can confidently create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of mental and physical needs. As part of your role you'll support and mentor your team to make sure they have the clinical training they need to deliver the highest standards of nursing, and we'll support you in your training and development too. As a Barchester Nurse, you'll have the autonomy to use your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions - and be truly valued and respected for what you do.

ABOUT RIVERMEAD CARE HOME
Barchester's Rivermead Care home is a CQC OUTSTANDING, beautifully decorated 65-bed care home, offering a high level of 24-hour nursing care and specialist nursing care for residents with illnesses such as Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis. We also provide expert care to those living with dementia in our dedicated Memory Lane Community. This is an opportunity for you to work in an environment that enables residents to celebrate life and make decisions around the life they want to live with their families and the assistance of a multi-disciplinary team.

You'll find Rivermead a welcoming and flexible place to work - our rotas are always completed in advance so you can plan your personal commitments around work.

ABOUT YOU
To join the dedicated team at Riverview Care Home, you will need:

* A current NMC registration and a mentoring or supervision qualification
* An up-to-date knowledge on the most recent clinical practices
* An understanding of regulatory frameworks
* Natural leadership qualities and experience of working with older people
* To provide high levels of customer satisfaction.
