A small elderly and dementia nursing home in a rural setting near Andover currently requires an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a background in elderly care to work as Clinical Deputy Manager.

Details of this Clinical Deputy Manager RGN/RMN position and what the home is offering:

•                        40 hours per week on a permanent basis

•                        Day shifts only, with some weekends required

•                        Supernumerary hours to be discussed at interview stage

•                        Excellent hourly rates of pay of £19 per hour

•                        A friendly and supportive working environment in a state-of-the-art home

As Deputy Clinical Manager RGN/RMN, you will play a key role in the clinical management of the home, and your duties and responsibilities will include:

•                        Creating, managing and monitoring care and ensuring care plans and medication records are correctly updated

•                        Participating in the delivery of clinical care

•                        Delivering effective clinical leadership to the nursing team

Applicants for this Deputy Manager RGN/RMN position should meet the following criteria:

•                        Qualified Adult Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN

•                        Up to date NMC registration

•                        Experienced in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a clinical setting, ideally within the elderly care sector

•                        Demonstrate proven elderly and dementia care experience

•                        Confident leading, developing and motivating a team

•                        Experienced in care planning, and demonstrate good working knowledge of CQC essential standards

•                        Flexible to meet the needs of a 24-hour care service, on call work as and when required
