DEPUTY MANAGER RGN / RMN, NURSING HOME, EASTBOURNE

Clayton Recruitment's specialist Nursing Division is currently recruiting for an experienced, strong and ambitious Deputy Manager for our clients 30- 40 bedded Older Adult Nursing, Dementia and EMI service in Eastbourne.

Applicants are required to be RGN or RMN trained, with previous experience as a Clinical Deputy Manager able to demonstrate ambition for a step up into management.

The role will be full time at a rate of £16-£18 per hr. Hours of work available are either 36 OR 48 hrs a week (8-8 shifts) with 60/40 supernumerary hours.

The role in brief;
The Deputy Manager will work and support the Home Manager in ensuring effective management of the overall service provided within the clinical area. After learning the role of Deputy it is expected that the post holder will quickly accelerate to a joint Registered Manager position covering several homes, within 6 - 12 months.

What you will need to apply;
-RGN/ RMN with active PIN registration
-Working knowledge and understanding of CQC compliance and regulatory duties
- Previous experience of working as a Deputy Manager in a nursing home environment
- Ambitious with a drive to success and progress
- Self-motivated in adopting best practice
- A working understanding of Safeguarding and The Protection of Vulnerable Adults
