Deputy Matron/Manager
Location: Aldersmead, Bognor Regis
Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 pa depending on experience
Position Type: Permanent, full-time
Working Hours: 40 hours per week including some weekends and bank holidays
Role outline:
• This post would suit a RN keen to further their managerial career.
• Deputising for the Matron/Manager in this well-managed and highly respected private care home which provides nursing, dementia, palliative and residential care for around 38 older people
• Acting as the clinical lead
• Undertaking staff supervision
• Undertaking care planning
• You will be supported by an excellent clinical nursing team, dedicated carers and hotel services staff
Your skills and attributes:
• You will be a qualified RN (adult) with some managerial experience in a residential setting
• Strong communication, leadership, problem solving and training skills
• Computer literate, and hold a current driving licence
• Hold a Health and Safety at work certificate and First Aid qualification
• Pride in your work, a commitment to high standards and a pleasant, caring nature
• Team player with a cheerful disposition
• Flexibility, well organised and proactive
Registered Staff Nurses (f/t and p/t opportunities)
Location: Aldersmead, Bognor Regis, Wellcross Grange, Horsham, Kingswood Court, Tadworth
Salary: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
Position Type: Full-time and part-time
Working Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
Role outline:
• Providing high quality, person-centred nursing care to residents
• Acting as a positive role model for nursing and care staff, providing leadership and guidance
• Working closely with team members in the home to provide choice, dignity and wellbeing and encourage independence
Your skills and attributes:
• An experienced RN with at least two years’ experience in the field of elderly care
• You must demonstrate your person-centred approach to care, and desire to make a positive difference to the lives of residents
• IT skills will be most helpful
• Must hold an up-to-date NMC PIN
• Enthusiastic, motivated, good communication skills and an affinity towards older people
• Team player with a caring disposition and a commitment to excellence
• Flexibility, well organised and proactive
• Keen to learn new skills and continually develop in your role
