ROTATION WITH CLEAR DIRECTION

Capital Nurse Foundation Programme

Are you an ambitious qualified mental health nurse or about to qualify? We have an exciting rotational programme in Hillingdon which allows newly qualified nurses to work and develop experience of mental health care across a range of settings including acute inpatient and community settings. We will support you through a two year programme to prepare you for a Band 6 role.

We are seeking friendly, motivated, approachable, & compassionate nurses with good communication skills. If you are committed to providing person centred care with a sound knowledge of best practice, this could be the opportunity for you.

Our nurses work within our supportive nursing structure in developing and implementing assessments, treatments and recovery focused care for patients. You will receive ongoing support from your peers, ward/team manager and matron and individual supervision as well as support in reflective practice groups.

Starting in March 2017 there is a fantastic new opportunity called the Capital Nurse Foundation Programme (CNFP) in CNWL.

The programme is for newly qualified Mental Health nurses to be part of an 18 month clinical rotation. This will provide community and inpatient experience with the addition of an educational programme that will focus on Preceptorship, advanced physical and psychosocial skills as well as management and leadership training.
