About this endoscopy role
This role requires a combination of technical expertise and empathetic patient contact. It will give you opportunities to work with state-of-the-art technology on a varied caseload, while giving patients the support and reassurance they need.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with leading consultants and using the latest equipment and facilities. These are maintained to our high standards – Nuffield Health hospitals have a excellent infection control records and CQC scores.

Your key accountabilities will be:

  • Supervising and supporting clinical support staff and junior staff in the delivery of care, providing education, training and mentorship to meet development needs
  • Delivering high quality patient care, which is clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate
  • Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care as part of a collaborative programme

Our purpose-built hospital has 64 beds, 8 theatres, an intensive care unit and other state-of-the-art facilities. We work with some of the world’s leading surgeons in a wide range of disciplines, including orthopaedics, cardiothoracic and neurosurgery. Our staff are respected for their professional expertise and encouraged to get involved in decision-making. Our location in Headington is convenient for buses and the park and ride scheme.

Qualifications, skills and values
As a registered Nurse, you’ll have the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration. You’ll also have post-registration experience. Immediate/Advanced Life Support is desirable.

Candidates must be NMC or HCPC qualified.
