DEPUTY MANAGER RGN / RMN, NURSING HOME, PLYMOUTH

Are you looking for a new opportunity as a Deputy Manager working for a well established National care home group?

Clayton Recruitment's specialist Nursing Division is currently assisting in the recruitment of an experienced Deputy Manager (RGN / RMN) for our clients well established 60-70 bed Nursing Home situated in Plymouth. The service is owned by a successful family owned provider with a national portfolio.

The role will be full time at a rate of £17.50-£18.50 per hr. You will work supernumerary hours 9.00 -17.00 with occasional shifts, (40 hrs a week), and cover on-call every other weekend.

Applicants are required to be an experienced Deputy Manager or Unit Manager (RGN or RMN) with a genuine interest in working with the elderly. Communication skills are essential and applicants must be able demonstrate effective management of a clinical team of HCAs and Nurses, and the ability to step up in the absence of Management.

Additional requirements
- RGN / RMN with active PIN registration
- Experienced Deputy Manager / Unit Manager
- Experience of working in a general nursing home environment
- Up-to-date clinical skills
- Self motivated with the ability to lead a team of Nurses and HCAs
