STAFF NURSE RGN (DAYS OR NIGHTS), AYLESFORD

Clayton Recruitment's specialist Nursing Division is currently assisting in the recruitment of a number of qualified RGNs to work either Days or Nights in Aylesford, Kent. The organisation is a large National charity catering for residents with, Learning disabilities, Physical disabilities, Sensory impairments, and those requiring treatment from long-term or terminal illness or disease.

Duties in brief
Ensure compliance with the NMC at all times and that processes are adhered to for the safe ordering, custody, storing and administration of all medication
Participate in monthly quality assurance audits
Compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures and all relevant statutory and regulatory responsibilities including fire arrangements, health and safety issues including moving and handling, COSHH, maintaining records diligently and accurately.
Administer medicines as required by the home in accordance with the homes policies and procedures.
Provide support and supervision to care staff
Ensure effective communication with relatives and other health-care professionals.
Ensure confidentiality regarding all aspects of care and management of the home is maintained.
Assessing and responding to clinical risk, and having a good understanding of the regulatory framework.
