Chemotherapy Nurse
£32k depending on experience

Spire Portsmouth Hospital is set in peaceful countryside on the outskirts of Havant, near Emsworth, on the Hampshire, West Sussex border. We aim to provide our patients with the highest standards of care with our advanced facilities, professional and friendly staff and clean and comfortable surroundings.
You will play an integral role in supporting the Surgical/Oncology clinics, providing the highest level of care for patients and delivering their chemotherapy, as well as  supporting their families and loved ones, and assisting Consultants with their requests. This is an enticing opportunity to develop your own nursing skills across a varied caseload of patients, each requiring your expert assessment and guidance on their health needs.
Given the time to work with the patients to achieve the best results, you will have plenty of support as you meticulously apply hospital protocols, conducting and overseeing a number of procedures. As such, you will be a nurse with current NMC registration, be fully trained and qualified in venepuncture and cannulation, with experience of delivering chemotherapy and your knowledge of infection control will be flawless. If you have experience of working in a surgical environment too, then that would be even better. Ideally working towards a qualification in a clinical specialism, you will have outstanding communication skills with a genuine passion for protecting the dignity, privacy, emotional and physical needs of every patient.
If you’re ready to bring your expertise to an environment in which every member of staff is valued and supported with ongoing professional development, then we’ve got a role for you. Join us today.
