Job Details
Clayton Nursing is currently recruiting for an established Private Hospital situated in Oldham who are on the lookout for a full time RMN or RNLD. The role will be based at my clients 16 bedded service that cares for Deaf people and individuals with complex communication difficulties.
The role will be full time 37.5 hours per week with a salary of the equivalent to band 6 NHS (roughly up to £35,577) the shifts will include days and nights on a rotational basis but rotas are structured 4 weeks in advance.
The services offers patient's rehabilitation in a Low Secure or Open rehabilitation environment within a comprehensive care pathway including individual hospital flats with support to achieve independence. The hospital provides holistic rehabilitation programmes and therapies to Deaf people with one or more of the following;
Mental health conditions
Personality disorder
Learning disabilities
Autistic spectrum conditions
Developmental Disorders
RESPONSIBILITIES IN BRIEF
To co-ordinate the assessment of prospective patients
Plan, implement and evaluate care under the guidelines of the multi-disciplinary team
Develop patient's care plans to meet their needs and ensure that it is delivered effectively
Communicate with family members, carers and other stakeholders
Develop risk management plans for patients and ensure that they are appropriately communicated and actioned within the team
Support and supervise new and junior staff in order to ensure delivery of a high standard of care to patients
Co-ordinate systematic monitoring and evaluation of patients under your care, seeking opinions from other professionals where appropriate
Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to patient care
Ensure that patient's rights under the Mental Health Act 1983 are effectively communicated to them and outcomes documented
To co-ordinate and provide a range of therapeutic activities and monitor their effectiveness
Accurately document all information relevant to a patients care and treatment on their health records
