Job Description
Spire Healthcare
Deputy Theatre Manager – Cambridge
Equivalent to Band 7/8a dependent on experience
Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital offers comprehensive private hospital services in a comfortable and relaxed environment to patients from Cambridgeshire and East Anglia. We believe it's our people that really set us apart - from the very best medical professionals, to our attentive and highly experienced support staff.
The Hospital is going through a £10 million refit which will modernise our 5 Theatres and 44 bedded ward. Also included in the upgrade will be the Imaging and short stay departments, increasing the number of pods to 19. The Endoscopy suite will also be JAG compliant level and there will also be an extended 2 bed recovery unit.
This is an excellent opportunity for a current Deputy Manager or Team Leader looking to step up into a more senior role. You will be supporting the Theatre Manager in developing the department as it continues to grow after the recent £10million refit which has given the hospital 5 state of the art Theatres covering a wide variety of specialties.
Whether you are a nurse registered with the NMC or an allied health practitioner registered with the HCPC, you will bring significant experience as a senior practitioner within a theatre environment. Your post-registration anaesthetic or theatre qualification will mean you bring expert knowledge of clinical practice. You’ll add to this a flair for motivating and developing staff, a strong sense of financial awareness and proven auditing skills. Experience in a private hospital would be desirable. Most of all, we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to succeeding together and our passion for putting patients first.
