Job Summary
As Care UK continues to grow, so do our career opportunities…a new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inpatient Nurse to join our existing dedicated and friendly team at our Southampton NHS Treatment Centre.
At our Southampton NHS Treatment Centre, we offer surgery for many common health needs, including hip and knee replacement, hernias, gall bladder surgery and cataracts. We have five operating theatres, 22 inpatient beds and 40 day places, an outpatient department, a pharmacy and a physiotherapy unit.
The specialties that we cover are endoscopy, general surgery, gynaecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, orthopaedics, pain management, urology and ear, nose and throat
In return for your dedication and professionalism, we are able to offer you an excellent working environment within our compact and friendly unit. Because we are not an acute unit the pace is less frantic and our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable
Responsible To
Inpatient Ward Manager
Key Responsibilities
You will work under the Inpatient Ward Manager to provide quality patient care ensuring that all treatments given meet individual patient needs, reflect good practice and are provided by means of appropriate equipment, within the agreed patient care pathways.
