Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust is the largest heart and lung centre in the UK and among the largest in Europe. We are a partnership of two specialist hospitals, which are known throughout the world for their expertise, standard of care and research success.

Harefield Hospital is currently undergoing a major development. With an additional six ITU beds and a new private patients ward and outpatients department.

If you are a newly qualified nurse, we have a preceptorship programme, which is tailor-made to suit your needs. Or if you’re an experienced nurse looking for the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, we’d love to meet you!!

We offer an 18-month rotation course for staff; this will be in three areas of your choice.

Candidates will have the opportunity to get a glimpse of what it would be like to work in largest specialist Heart and Lung Centre in the UK prior to being interviewed for permanent roles in one of the following areas:

• Acute Cardiac Care
• Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery
• Cardiology
• High Dependency Unit
• Intensive Care
• Transplant
