Nurse Practitioner/Prescriber

Hours: up to 1 full time equivalent, specific work hours to be agreed with the successful candidate within the service hours of 8am to 8pm 7 days per week.

Salary: up to £48K full time (37 hours)

Location: Cricklewood GP Led Health Centre, London NW2 1DZ

Cricklewood GP Led Health Centre (CGPLHC) has provided both registered and unscheduled patient care within a large modern centre for the last 7 years. There are experienced GPs on site at all times and the centre currently sees around 2000 unscheduled patients each month.

In addition to the unscheduled patients CGPLHC also has a GP list of around 4000 patients, predominantly from the younger age groups.  The successful candidate will be required to work across all patient groups and will be involved in leading clinics to perform routine smears and immunisations.

CGPLHC sees a huge variety of cases from its multicultural population. The centre was purpose converted and is situated close to a major local hospital and nearby local shops.

The CGPLHC reception team is responsible for booking all cases into the clinical systems to allow the successful candidate to solely concentrate on patient care.  The post holder will be required to prescribe autonomously with the support of several very experienced and supportive GP’s.

CGPLHC is run by Barndoc Healthcare, a provider of high quality primary care services across several North London Boroughs.
