Job Description

Spire Gatwick Park and St Anthony’s
Sutton and Surrey

Infection Prevention and Control Lead
Full Time
Up to £40k per annum depending on suitability

This is an excellent opportunity to lead and develop the Infection Control policies across 2 of Spire's state of the art Hospitals at Gatwick Park and St Anthony's in Sutton.
This is an autonomous role working directly with the Hospital Matron's supporting both sites which cover a multitude of specialties and departments including Theatres, Surgical Wards, ITU, HDU and Sterile Services to name a few.
You will have the opportunity to stamp your own mark on the role and make decisions that will help develop the Hospital's services long into the future.

This role is particularly appealing because of its scope to reach all departments within the hospital, meaning you’ll quickly be on first name terms with the entire team. As such, you will need to have fantastic interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to construct written reports and no-nonsense guidelines. As an RGN with a teaching and assessment qualification plus an accredited module in infection prevention and control, you will have (or be willing to undertake) a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. You will also have Equipment and Medical Devices Competences. A genuine passion for great customer service will be the icing on the cake.

This varied role will never get dull, so you’ll have the opportunity to use your excellent IT and audit skills to provide a safe and happy environment for everyone who walks through our doors. Join us today and make a difference that really does matter.
